Sustainability Sales & Marketing Intern

Job Description: Successful candidates will provide support for business development and marketing initiatives of the company. Involvement may include a variety of activities such as social media, PR, authoring blog submissions, website content management, sales lead development, etc.

Location: 400 N. Tampa, Suite 2200, Tampa, Florida (Downtown Tampa)

Dates of Position: Spring 2012

Time Commitment: Part Time TBD with Successful Candidate

Compensation: None, but will work with successful candidate to facilitate school credit for the internship.

 

Learning Opportunities/Objectives:

• Take part in developing a social media and marketing plan with measurable metrics
• Gain real world marketing experience using social media tools
• Opportunity to develop writing skills through blog postings and forum comments
• Research potential markets for sustainability services
• Conduct SWOT analysis and benchmark our company against competitive product/service offerings
• An introduction to and the development of proficiency in the use of salesforce.com and Cloud Apps, a leading sustainability data management solution.

 

Qualifications:

• Preference for undergraduate or graduate student that has a strong interest in organizational sustainability. Candidates should have a focus on marketing and sales. Prior experience in sustainability, marketing and sales a plus.
